A mare lazily jogged into the meadow, then, halting, looked around, sniffing the air as she did so. Smelling no other horses, Neriala smiled slightly, although she was unsure if the lack of horses was a good thing or a bad thing. Oh well. It was nice, being able to just relax without having to worry if anybody was near her. Finding a decent-looking patch of grass, Neri began to graze, not really having anything better to do. The mare's brindle coat gleamed in the sun as she grazed, stripes of light and dark brown being unintentionally displayed. Not that Neri minded. She liked her coat color. It was unique, different, kind of like she tried to be. It was this desire to be different that had set her on the path of a wanderer. Well, and the fact that she wanted to live her own life, and not be weighed down by a mate or foals. So, Neriala continued to graze, content with her life, however solitary it could be at times.

Nalyada raised her head and looked around, wondering why the place seemed so deserted. It was kind of eerie, being in a land that must have been deserted until she showed up. Or maybe it was boring, rather than eerie. After all, things can get pretty darn dull without some entertainment.

WOLFBANE
They gray stallion moved into the land at a startled gallop, he wasn't really afraid, he just loved running. He slowed and eventually came to an easy walk. He was tired now, and his breathing heaving, snorting the air with force through his nose. He laughed, the winter air swirling through his lungs.
His gray coat was an odd color of gray. Light and dark at the same time.
Wolf came to a clearing, there noticing a shimmer of red through the trees. His curiosity always got the best of him, and he investigated.
A mare? Her coat flashed with two-tone colors, blinding him almost. He could get used to it.
He moved to her, unafraid. When he reached her he dipped his head in silent greeting, almost touching his chest.
Hello fair maid, I am Wolfbane, call me Wolf. What is the name I can call you fair one. May I comment on your color, most interesting, fascinating really!!
he wanted to touch the rainbow of color but he could control himself. his heart yes was pure of life, but don;t let his front fool you. He was a serious and legit stallion.

Hearing the approach of another horse, Neriala looked up. Ah. So there's at least one other horse around. That's good to know. she thought, watching the grey stallion approach. She listened as he spoke, smiling slightly as he commented on her coat. Maybe it was a little vain of her, but she loved the color of her coat, how different it was from everybody else's. "Thank you. I'm Neriala, or Neri for short." she said, voice quiet, almost shy.
